METALLINE MINING COMPANY
Metalline Mining Company is a publicly held mineral exploration and resource company with exploration projects in Coahuila, Mexico and Gabon, West Africa. Metalline merged with Dome Ventures Corporation in April 2010 and Metalline is currently trading on the NYSE Amex stock exchange under the symbol “MMG”.
The Company’s flagship Sierra Mojada Project is located in Sierra Mojada, Coahuila, Mexico which is about 250 km north of Torreon, Mexico. Metalline has acquired or has options to acquire mineral concessions totaling 19,580 hectares (48,362 acres) in the Sierra Mojada Mining District. The Company has been working on the property since 1997 and has completed over 80,000 meters of drilling. An initial 43-101 technical report on the project was filed in January 2010 which indicated inferred resources of over 136 million ounces of silver and 2.9 million tonnes of zinc.
The Company also holds three exploration licenses in Gabon, West Africa, that cover an area of 6,000 square kilometers. The Company recently entered into a joint venture agreement with AngloGold Ashanti Limited on two of its licenses, Ndjole and Mevang, whereby AngloGold agreed to fund certain exploration costs in exchange for an interest in the properties. At the same time, the Company entered into a second joint venture agreement on the Ogooue license held by AngloGold. The Company is currently pursuing a joint venture arrangement on the Mitzic license, which remains highly prospective for its iron ore potential.
