Patrick M. James, Chairman and CEO
Since February 2001, Mr. James has been an independent natural resource management consultant. Mr. James was President and Chief Executive Officer of Rio Algom Limited from June 1997 through February 2001. Prior to joining Rio Algom Limited, Mr. James spent 18 years with Santa Fe Pacific Gold Corporation becoming President and Chief Operating Officer in 1994 and Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer in 1995. Mr. James is currently a director of Stillwater Mining Company and Centerra Gold Inc.

Frank D. Wheatley, Director
Mr. Wheatley is Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of Gabriel Resources Limited. Previously Mr. Wheatley was Vice President-Legal Affairs for Eldorado Gold Corporation and an attorney with Smith Lyons working on mining related business transactions. He serves on the boards of Lithie Resources Ltd. and Portal Resources Ltd.

Allen J. Palmiere, Chairman of the Audit Committee, Director
Mr. Palmiere is a Chartered Accountant, and has served in senior management and financial supervisory capacities in the mining industry most of his career. In the past Mr. Palmiere has served as Treasurer of Northgate Exploration; President, CEO & CFO of Breakwater Resources; and Chief Financial Officer of Zemex Corporation. He currently is the President, CEO and Director of HudBay Minerals Inc, and is President, CEO and Director of Silk Road Resources Ltd.

Marvin Kaiser, Director
Mr. Kaiser has spent most of his career in senior financial capacities within the mining industry. He recently retired from The Doe Run Company, where he was Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer. In the past, Mr. Kaiser has also served as CFO of Amax Gold, Inc. as well as Senior Vice President and CFO of Olympic Mining Corporation and Ranchers Exploration. He also serves on the boards of Apollo Gold Corporation, El Capitan Precious Metals, Inc. and Uranium Resources Inc. Mr. Kaiser is a Certified Public Accountant, and sits on the Advisory Board of the Southern Illinois University School of Accountancy.

Donald W. Gentry, Director
Dr. Gentry holds a Ph.D. in Mining Engineering.  He has worked for several major companies as a mining engineer, including Anaconda Copper Company, Kennecott Copper Corporation, and NL Industries, and has served on the Board of Directors of several companies, including Santa Fe Pacific Gold Corporation, Newmont Mining Corporation, and Polymet Mining Corporation, where he also served as President & CEO.  Dr. Gentry is an Emeritus Professor at the Colorado School of Mines where he served on the faculty in Mining Engineering for 26 years. Dr. Gentry also currently serves on the Board of Gryphon Gold Corporation and El Capitan Precious Metals, Inc.   Dr. Gentry has served on numerous advisory boards and councils to various branches of the U.S. federal government, including the Executive Office of the President, on considering and formulating government policies as they relate to mineral resources and their development in the United States. Dr. Gentry is a past-President of the Society for Mining, Metallurgy, and Exploration (SME) and a member of the National Academy of Engineering.
